Petra Nováková – Ondreičková (1968)
This versatile artist graduated from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. Since the 1990s she has exhibited her installations, objects and paintings in prominent Czech and foreign galleries. In recent years she has focused on three-dimensional objects from paper, and on painting. In parallel with artistic creation, Petra Nováková - Ondreičková devotes her time to interior styling and decorating (the world's guidebooks show the interior of the famous Prague cafe Kaaba), and to film with her husband.
Václav Novák (1959)
This architect graduated from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague and then devoted himself to the creation of interiors and their reconstructions, and film architecture. He has created the interiors of a number of cafes, as well as family homes and public buildings. In his film career he has worked on the architecture of more than twenty films (for example Sláma's Venkovský učitel (Country Teacher), or Cieslar’s film Colette - for which he was nominated for the Czech Lion). The film Ann Frank the whole story, in which he participated, took home an Emmy Award. He wrote a textbook for teaching interior design with emphasis on its further development. He and his wife led professional courses on interior design for company PCFE, /The centre for further education, and now they only run them exclusively in their current form at Art's cool.
